In 1978, while lecturing in literature at the University of South Africa, I wrote a few short stories.  For years they were neatly filed and never used.  In 1997 they have become part of a book that I wrote in The Netherlands, in Sassenheim and which was published in London.

The book is an ongoing conversation between the narrator and the reader,

illustrated by short stories.  Through the conversation the reader becomes an active partner in the dialogue.

All our "mundane" lives are filled with interesting material that we seldom
