HADASSAH SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA July 25, 2002 Dr. Noya Ostrowiak was invited to give a talk about her book Motherhood is Not a Rehearsal to an audience of 35 people in our organization. Noya's presentation is indeed captivating. She delivers an impassioned talk about events that led her to put her thoughts on paper. Forthright and energetic, Noya steers us back to the basics of parenthood showing us that somehow, along the way, we have lost sight of the fundamentals. Not only is Noya pleasant to listen to, she is also pleasant to watch. Almost like a dancer, her graceful gestures punctuate her presentation permeating the room with her positive energy. Clearly more than a writer, Noya is an enlivened speaker who keeps her audience completely absorbed. I highly recommend her to any audience: grandparents, parents, children and grandchildren alike.
